Swag 的潮味
查了一下，隨著潮流文化，如嘻哈歌詞、韓流歌曲都開始用 Swag 這詞，代表的是「吸引力」「魅力」「潮」「酷」之類的意思，自 Swagger（動詞，搖擺闊步、自視非凡）轉變而來。
不過其實 Swag 本來就有自己的意思，名詞，代表的是贓物、偷竊來的物品。
所以上述酷、炫、潮的意思在正規的字典中都還查不到。

順帶一提，各 Linux 散佈版社群/發行廠商會把用來提升品牌形象的物品也稱為 Swag/SWAG，有人說這裡的 Swag 代表 Stuff We All Get，又有人說它代表 Souvenirs, Wearables and Gifts。
舉例而言，Red Hat 就有在賣 Swag，引用該網站上的文字「Branded merchandise (swag) is more than just pens and t-shirts. These products are a way to engage our audience in a brand experience. They drive awareness, recognition, and help us tell the Red Hat story. Good promotional items can deliver more impressions at a lower cost than traditional forms of advertising.」 ，可以看出他們講的 Swag 代表的是有品牌標記的商品，用來讓受眾對品牌更感興趣，主要是行銷、推廣性質。
在臺灣的日常詞彙對應中，這裡的 swag 大約就是大會攤位上發放，用來增進品牌親切感的「紀念品」了。
